Please note that these workshops are not suitable for beginners.
Sandy will teach you a short cabaret choreography in the morning and a short Shaabi number in the afternoon after a 1 hour lunchbreak from 12:30-1:30, the dances will be repeated several times during the workshops to enable you to be able to perform them at the "Dance for clean oceans" on Sunday, 9th June 2019 and at other events.
Please make sure you are fit to dance, bring water and snacks with you and bear in mind that workshops are different from weekly classes. Learning a whole routine in a few hours is different to learning a choreography during a school term where you have the time to digest the bitesized sections of the whole dance :) But don't fret, it is definitely do-able, but I always like to point out the challenge of a workshop in order to avoid disappointment.
If you like a challenge and have a good grasp of learning a combination of steps, then these workshops are for you. Also note that performing at the "Dance for clean oceans" event is optional, so, no pressure ;) The course is designed for you to learn a new dance to perform.
