Sandy Maya's vision is to provide dancers the opportunity to perform and showcase their talent without the students needing to fund events by purchasing their own tickets. We rely on partners, families and guests to come and support the dancers who want to share skills they have learned in class. Use this purchase option to help Sandy Maya's Bellydance organise public performances which gives accomplished dancers the opportunity to get paid by the audience rather than having to pay themselves to be seen. It is still a common belief that "exposure" by dancing for free will help performing artists to make a living. If you consider the time and money it takes to cover the following: studio hire, teacher, time spent learning and perfecting, choreographing, dance wear and commute, then it becomes apparent that a dancer deserves to be paid for their effort to put a performance together. I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart as a dancer, artist and teacher, because no matter how small your contribution is today, it makes a big impact in my life as I can continue doing what I love and continue my mission to give dancers the appreciation and acknowledgement they deserve. You will be updated in which way your contribution was used, ie.: costuming, studio hire, venue fees, travel expenses, etc. Have your name appear on my dedicated sponsor appreciation page, updated on a monthly basis.Your name as a sponsor will also appear on the program of the Bellydance Show planned for November 2020.
